At NCSU, I am currently working toward a degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering, and a triple minor in biological science, biomanufacturing, and biotechnology. Having found a unique passion for applied chemistry and biology, I am excited to extend my expertise to nanotechnology and quantum dot synthesis with the Abolhasani lab group. On campus, I am involved with the GCSP (Grand Challenge Scholars Program), and am studying engineering from a multidisciplinary perspective, focusing on how engineering, entrepreneurship, and social consciousness intersect. My GCSP capstone project is concentrated on the NAE (National Academy of Engineering) grand challenge of providing access to clean water. I will be traveling to Peru over winter break to study water resource management and sustainable practice!
