I was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated top of my class from a Charter School in Smithfield, NC.  I am majoring in Chemical Engineering with a Biomolecular concentration, as well as minoring in biotechnology and physics.  I pursued engineering as it allowed me to combine my interests in chemistry and physics and apply them to real-world and problem-solving situations.  After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan on attending graduate school to further my education
